A Veterans Forum is being planned for Friday, Aug. 17, at the Tama Civic Center by the Tama County Democratic Party.
Guests will include Congressman Bruce Braley, State Senator Steve?Sodders, State Representative candidate Nathan Wrage. Other local candidates will be in attendance.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Veterans, their families and the general public are all invited to participate. The guests will speak and a question and answer session will follow.
