Union Pacific main line railroad crossings in Tama have been blocked for about one-half hour in Tama beginning at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7. Ta,a Police reported south bound traffic on U.S. Highway 63 is backed up 10 or more blocks to the 13th and State street intersection. Tama County dispatch was seeking a reason for the blockage form the Union Pacific.
