Truman William (Bill) Warner, Jr., 72, Toledo, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Iowa Methodist Hospital, in Des Moines, due to an accidental death.
Bill was born Sept. 26, 1939, the son of Dorothy and Truman Warner Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa (Sells) Warner, father, Truman Warner, Sr. and a sister, Patti McConnell.
Bill served in the U. S. Navy from 1959-63. After working several jobs, Bill moved to Toledo around 1972. He was employed at Pioneer Hi-Bred Seed Corn Company, retiring after 22 years of service.
Survivors include his daughters, Lynn Schinckel, Laurel, Mont. and Tammy Benson, Los Molinos, Calif., three granddaughters, Hidy, Mickie and Sydney, one great-grandson Kol, stepson, Beau (Becky) Bristol, DePere, Wisc., four grandchildren, Mikah, Bella, Lilly, and Marshall, his mother, Dorothy Warner, Marshalltown, brother, David (Bonnie) Warner, and sisters, Carol and Sharol.*
