Get ready for the 35th annual Double D Rodeo presented by the Pony Express Riders of Iowa this Friday and Saturday nights, Aug. 3 and 4.
The ever-popular IRCA and URA?-approved ranch rodeo is at the Dostal family ranch, seven miles north of Toledo on U.S. 63 and one-half mile east on Tama Co. Road E29. It gets underway at 6 p.m. each night with kids wooly-bully rides.
The rodeo starts at 7 p.m. with events from calf roping to barrel roping to bron riding.
