Before Judge Robert E. Sosalla in Tama County District Court in Toledo:
Allison Jean Miller, 27, Waterloo, received suspended prison sentences and fines on a series of charges stemming from burglaries at Buckingham. Miller pled guilty to the charges on May 10. She was placed on probation for five years to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services.
On a charge of 2nd degree burglary Miller was sentenced to 10 years and fined $1,000, 3rd degree burglary, five years and fined $750, two counts of 2nd degree theft, five years and $750 fines each and child endangerment, two years and a $625 fine.

Miller was ordered to pay restitution totaling $5,086 to victim Kathleen Cowell and $1,376 to victim Neil Mullen.
Court records show Miller and a second defendant, Kelli Sue Reagan, were charged on Jan. 6 with entering homes in the Buckingham area while they were armed. A minor child was also with them according to court documents.
Reagan's case is still pending in Tama County District Court.
The charges were filed by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Wes Sebetka.
Carlos Ramon Garcia-Alvarado, 40, rural Tama, pled guilty to possession of false I.D. information in a plea agreement. He was sentenced to 27 days in jail with credit for 27 days served and was directed to reimburse the sheriff for up to $60 a day for jail time.
Garcia-Alvarado was charged on June 9 for allegedly providing a false name to Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt after being stopped for speeding. He originally faced a charge of preventing apprehension or obstructing prosecution.
Richard Alexander Diaz, 22, Traer pled guilty to 2nd offense drunken driving and was also sentenced on an earlier guilty plea on a charge of possession of marijuana.
On the drunken driving charge, received a suspended two-year prison term and was fined $6,250. Diaz was placed on probation and directed to pay a $300 supervisory fee and to complete drinking drivers school.
Two counts of neglect of a dependent person were dismissed.
When arrested in the 400 block of Lynn Street in Traer, court documents state a one-year old child was with Diaz in his vehicle. The charges were field on Dec. 7, 2010, by Tama county Deputy Sheriff David Rangel.
On the marijuana charge he was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 30 days served, and his driver's license was revoked for 180 days. He was directed to reimburse the sheriff for up to $60 daily for jail fees
Diaz was charged in the 400 block of Tama Street on Dec. 31, 2011, by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt.
