Tama Fire and Ambulance were summoned to the southeast side of Tama about 2:40 p.m. Sunday, June 24, for a tubing mishap in the Iowa River. The victim was initially reported not breathing but CPR had been successful according to radio traffic. Tama County Sheriff's deputies were also responding to the scene.
