A trio of 2012 South Tama High School graduates had more in common than just being fellow class members.
Taylor Van Dyk, Katelyn Behounek and Amelia Hoskey had been "best friends at South Tama "all through school."
In high school they all maintained a 4.0 grade-point average.

And they were rewarded by earning the honor of being Valedictorians of their senior class.
The trio was recognized during the graduation exercises at the South Tama High School Gymnasium on Sunday, May 20.
In addition to their studies they were active in almost all girls sports at STC and many other activities.
The trio are all members of the National Honor Society.
Taylor Van Dyk is the daughter of Randy and Michelle Van Dyk. She plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls.
Katelyn Behounek is the daughter of Kevin and Micki Behounek. She plans to attend Simpson College, Indianola.
Amelia Hoskey is the daughter of Marty and Marcia Hoskey. She plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls.
