The summer's second edition of "Footloose Fridays" on the Tama County Courthouse Square in downtown Toledo returns this Friday night, June 1, with a double-header for entertainment.

A preview of the coming Wieting Theatre's June 8 "the Iowa Great Opera House Project" is on the bandstand at 5 p.m.

It's a "Road Show" reminiscent of those a century ago billed as a "family friendly two-hour program of acoustic music."

It will be followed by the local band "The Greatest Action" (TGA).

Tama?County Pork Producers will be serving sandwiches and the weekly Toledo Farmers Market will feature the always outstanding local produce and baked goods.

There will be drawings for some great prizes, too.

Footloose Fridays is sponsored by the Tama-Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce, Pioneer, The State Bank of Toledo, Kenkel Law Office, Bumblebee's Bar and Pizza, Wilkerson Hardware, El Campesino Mexican Grill, Independent Insurance, Stein-Hrabak Floor Covering and Tama-Grundy Publishing.
