STC boys soccer routs Waterloo East

South Tama's boys soccer team enjoyed a nice, easy victory Friday afternoon at home.

The Trojans defeated Waterloo East 11-0, after leading 8-0 at halftime.

Three STC players scored hat tricks in the contest. Adrian Castanon led the Trojans with four goals, to go along with one assist. Jose Ramirez and Alex Martinez each scored three goals in the victory. Martinez also added three assists to his stat line.

Martinez scored the first two goals of the game, at the 3rd and 16th minutes. After his second goal, STC went on a scoring frenzy, as it put six more goals into the net during the next 19 minutes. Erik Barajas scored his lone goal during that stretch.

After halftime, Ramirez and Castanon added a goal apiece during the first two minutes of the second half. Castanon scored the final goal 20 minutes later, to give the Trojans an 11-0 victory.
