A quick pair of goals in the second half doomed the South Tama boys soccer team as it hosted Hudson on Monday afternoon.

South Tama trailed 3-1 at halftime, but saw glimpses of a possible comeback until Hudson shut the door quickly. Hudson scored its fourth goal at the 49th-minute and its fifth goal less than a minute later.

Those goals proved costly and deflated the Trojans, who eventually lost the game 8-2.
