Elvis Valdez and Belkis Diaz are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amici Valdez Diaz, to Micah James Hayek, the son of Frank and Sonia Hayek.
Amici is a 2009 graduate of South Tama County High School and will be graduating from Iowa State University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services and a minor in Psychology. She is currently working as an undergraduate research assistant at the university.
Micah is a 2009 graduate of South Tama County High School and will be graduating from Iowa State University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Pre-physical Therapy. Micah will continue onto graduate school to obtain a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He is currently working as a student technician at Iowa State Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine.
