Within moments Tuesday afternoon, firefighters from Tama and Toledo departments were dispatched to seperate fires. At 4:15 p.m., the Tama Fire Department was sent to 133 Springs Road on the Meskwaki Settlement for a grass fire said to be out of control. Toledo firefighters were then called to the 200 block of K Aveneue for a corn field reported on fire.
