5:05 p.m. March-30-12: Elberon and Belle Plaine ambulance services, Air Care from U of I Hospitals and Tama County Sheriff's officers are heading for the junction of U.S. Highway 30 and Iowa 21 for care of a reported child in a near-drowning. Motorists should use caution or avoid this area a this time. The area is being used for the helicopter landing site. Radio traffic says trhe incidnet is beleived to have happened elsewhere.
