Iowa Valley will be offering some classes of interest in Grinnell. On April 5, Kathryn Hamilton, certified hypnotherapist will offer two classes. At 7:15 P.M. she will conduct a smoking cessation class through the use of hypnosis. The same evening, she will offer a weight loss class beginning at 6:00 P.M. Both classes will be held in room 109 of the Iowa Valley building in Grinnell. Each session has a tuition of $45.00. Each participant will be given a reinforcement CD to use at home.
Becky Cline will be teaching beginning cake decorating on Monday, April 16 at the Iowa Valley center. Her class will begin at 6:30 P.M. and meet in room 155, the kitchen. Bring $4.00 payable to Becky at the time of the class to cover the cost of the cakes and frosting. Tuition for this class is $18.00.
Both these classes are usually held in Tama, but there have been requests to program them in Grinnell. It's a short drive and worth the travel if you can throw away those cigarettes, shed some pounds, and/or learn a new skill.
