On Saturday March 3, the Tama/Toledo Just For Kix Mini Kix dancers competed at the United We Dance competition at the Wartburg College. This dance group consists of eight girls from South Tama County Schools. The girls include Katie Campbell, Kaylee Klostermann, Jessica Musgrave, Taylor Lekin, Taylor Ray, Meg Ridout, Madison Rohach, and Kallee Wall. The girls competed in the 3A kick division to the song "Does your Momma Know" by Abba. The girls won their second consecutive win at the United We Dance competition after moving up from the 1A class last year to 3A this year.
The group will travel to Bloomington, Minn. this weekend to compete in the 4A Division at the United We Dance competition in Minneapolis on Sunday March 18.
"The girls have worked hard all year for competition season and the dance reflects on that spirit and drive. I have been welcomed into the community and had the opportunity to work with a tremendous group of talented and dedicated group of dancers. I am very blessed to have the support of such great dance parents who want to take the program to the next level", says Tama -Toledo Just for Kix Director Lindsey Yanecek.
