The Trojan Warrior Elite Wrestling Club took six wrestlers to the AAU Iowa State Wrestling Championships at Wells Fargo in Des Moines on February 25-26.
The top four place winners from each district meet advanced to the AAU State tournament, bringing together the top 32 youth in the state in each division.
Colton Vest achieved a second place finish in Division B 95.

He posted the following individual match results: 13-0, WBF 1:56, 5-0, 7-2, 2-4.
Bailey Chyma also worked his way to the awards stand, placing seventh in Division C 140.
His individual stats were as follows: WBForfeit, 4-10, WBF 1:36, WBF 1:51, 7-4, 1-5, WBF 3:44.
Also wrestling in the state meet were Brayden Smith, Division A 70 (LBF 0:50, 6-1, 2-3); Tanner Probasco, Division B 80 (2-5, 3-0, 4-2, 0-3); Lansin Lacina, Division C 90 (0-4, LBDefault); Jaret Probasco, Division C 95 (WBF 2:42, LBF 1:20, 3-0, LBF 1:08).
