The Trojan Warrior Elite Wrestling Club took 10 wrestlers to the AAU District tournament in Boone on February 5.
The top four place winners in each division advanced to the AAU State tournament to be held at Wells Fargo. Throughout tough competition all day, the Trojans were successful in advancing six wrestlers.
Taking 1st place was Colton Vest in Division B 95.

The Trojans brought home four silver medals: Brayden Smith, Division A 70; Tanner Probasco, Division B 80; Jaret Probasco, Division C 95; Bailey Chyma, Division C 140. Earning a 3rd place finish was Lansin Lacina in Division C 90. These six wrestlers will compete at the AAU State tournament on February 25 26 in Des Moines.
Also participating in the District meet were Payton Vest Division A 70, Vincent Branan Division A 70, Kolbie Clark Division C 110 and Ruben Garcia Division C 120.
