Meskwaki Warrior boys top Clarksville

The Meskwaki Warriors boys were able to come from behind and beat Clarksville on Monday, Jan. 30, at Clarksville, despite Nick Wessels 35 points.

Tyus Grant led the Warriors in scoring with 15, followed by Corey Dye with 13 points. Floyd Speck and Winston Wolf each added nine, and Royce Timberwolf and Dakota Ducheneaux both scored eight points in a balanced attack.

Wessels only scored six points in the 4th quarter.

The Warrior girls varsity team wasn't as fortunate. They lost 58-35 to the Clarksville girls squad on Monday.

The Warriors boys and girls varsity and junior varsity teams were scheduled to face North Tama on Tuesday night at Traer.
