Applington-Parkersburg able to wear down South Tama JV

South Tama Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Coach Jim Hall noted the Trojans were able to stay with a strong Applington-Parkersburg team until the middle of the second quarter last Thursday night.

"They beat us with a good transition game," Hall said. "AP had better depth and continued to exploit our lack of depth by pushing the ball" reuslting in a 65-26 loss.

Tyler Martens led the STC?scoring with 14 points, shooting at a 45.4 clip. Jake Herriott chipped in five and Alec Hill, Taylen Anderson and Morris Zach each tallied two points.

Herriott had three assists and Zach notched two.

Martens also led the team with five rebounds with Nate Hala, Anderson and Zach each getting a total of three.

Darien Taylor had two rebounds followed by Tristan Beyer and Harriott with one each.
