Entrepreneurial session set for Tama County on Dec. 13

You can learn from an entrepreneur like yourself.

The presenter, Dan Beenken, will provide you with helpful hints when it comes to acquiring financing for your business. Dan is the manager of Incubation Services - and director of the Small Business Development Center at the University of Northern Iowa.

Prior to coming to UNI, he lived in Minneapolis for about nine years working for a Venture Capital firm and an investment bank.

Beenken earned his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and during his time in Minneapolis, his MBA at the University of Minnesota. He and his wife own a home dcor and antique shop in Waverly called The Changing Season.
