Norman and Ethel Downs Hoskey will be celebrating their 70th Wedding Anniversary this month. Norman and Ethel were married in Edina, Mo., on November 15, 1941. They have made their home in Marshall and Tama Counties ever since, and continue to farm in Tama County. Their family consists of two sons, six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren, and one step-great-great-grandson.
Their two sons are LeRoy (Karon) of Chelsea and Marvin (Karen) of Maryville, Mo.
LeRoy and Karon have three children: Mark (Kenne), Chelsea, Tammy (Scott) Kolash, Belle Plaine, and Ron (Lynelle), Chelsea. Each couple has two children: Mark and Kenne are the parents of Keaten and Kamryn; Tammy and Scott are the parents of Joseph and John; Ron and Lynelle are the parents of Erica and Jessica.

Marvin and Sue Paxton Hoskey have three children: Michael (Annette) of Maryville, Mo., Carla of Des Moines, and Monte (Kellie) of Maryville, Mo. Mick have three step-children and one step-grandson: Amber (Jake) Neaderhiser and son, Drexell of Parnell, MO; Adam (KaTrina) Kunkel of Maryville, and Jaclyn of Mary-ville. Monte and Kellie are the parents of Megan and Alexis.
Marvin's second wife (Karen) has three children and seven grandchildren: Ryan Wake of Burnsville, Minn.; Laura (Mike) Ketcherside and four children, Heaven, River, Roman and Zion of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and Shawn (Sandi) Wake and Rachel, Owen and Evan of Maryville, Mo.
Their families are hosting the celebration with an open house on Saturday, Nov. 26, from 2-5 p.m. at the Montour Community Center, Montour. All family members and friends are invited to attend, No gifts please. Cards are also welcome at 3145 350th St., Chelsea, Iowa 52215.
