September 18, 2011
By Anne Michael
TAMA NEWS-HERALD-A very popular class last spring was Berleen Wobeter’s class on making and using an earth oven. She will offer it over again on Monday, Sept. 19.

The class will meet at the Career Development Center in downtown Tama at 6:30 p.m.

Then we will travel to Berleen’s home north of Toledo. Make a delicious pizza using “wet” dough in an earth oven! The tuition for this class is $18.00. Bring $5.00 payable to Berleen at the time of the class for ingredients. Rain date for the class is September 21.

Cassie Sokol., Younker’s cosmetic specialist, is bringing free samples, a door prize and her expertise to help you make the most of your appearance. It will be a fun class, and one that will tell you the latest trends in make-up and give you ideas on how to improve your own technique.

This class meets at the Tama Library on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 6:30 p.m Tuition for the class is $18.00. Time to do something nice for yourself!

State Bank of Toledo’s Micki Ferris has extremely valuable information about simple things you can do to protect yourself from thieves whose goal is to steal your identity and cause you grief. Unfortunately, identity theft is becoming far too common. In just one hour, you can join the ranks of people that these crooks cannot abuse. This class meets at the Toledo Library on Thursday, September 29, at 6:30 P.M. Tuition for this class is $10.

Register for these classes by calling 641-484-3334 or calling 800-284-4823 or on line www.lowaValley.com.

See you in class!
