The purpose of this special meeting was to approve the hiring of a music teacher. The previous teacher had resigned with little notice. The application for the replacement is the only one received.
Approval was for Christine McFate as high school vocal music teacher, $35,544, extra high school vocal, $2438, high school musical, $2,30. middle school vocal music, $1,378, and assistant speech, $1530
McFate’s duties as high school vocal music teacher went into effect on Aug. 18, and the other positions are all effective Sept. 20.
Approving the contract were board members Michelle Yuska, Jackie Dvorak and Ron Hala. Absent were Anne Michael and Mark McFate.
