STC school vote is Tuesday, Sept. 13

TOLEDO CHRONICLE- TAMA NEWS-HERALD- The South Tama School Board election is Tuesday, Sept. 13. The date is not the first Tuesday after the first Monday of the month as is customary due to the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 5.

Incumbents seeking reelection unopposed include District 2- Mark McFate, Toledo, District 3- Anne Michael, Tama and District 5- Jackie Dvorak, Chelsea.

Also on the Sept. 13 ballot will be renewal of the Iowa Valley Community?College District plat levy for the period 2015-2025.

The current levy, which nets about $780,000, annually District-wide, expires in June, 2015,
