TAMA NEWS-HERALD - Combine a movie premiere with a whole basket of “Bohemian Plum” events and Clutier is aiming at a rapid recovery from the derecho wind storm which rocked the town and area less than a month ago.

Tracy Sienknecht, one of the event organizers, says the movie “Hometown,” with a cast of strictly area residents, will provide a glimpse of some of the buildings destroyed in the July 11 wind storm.

The comedy-drama will debut in a screening at the Immaculate Conception Church beginning at 5 p.m. A second showing will be at 9:30 p.m.

Beginning at 6 p.m. in downtown Clutier there will be wine tasting provided by John Ernest Vineyard and the popular “Barefoot Becky” will play.

Saturday’s lineup includes a 5K run, kiddie parade, Clutier Firemen’s hog roast, Silver Anniversary Street Cruise and a street dance featuring “Milk and Honey.”

A flea market and food will be at the ZCBJ Lodge.
