Tama Co. Fair opens Wednesday, July 20

TOLEDO CHRONICLE - Livestock will arrive and non-livestock projects will be judged on the opening day of the Tama County 4-H and FFA Fair in Gladbrook on Wednesday, July 20. There’s also pet shows on Wednesday night. Livestock judging gets into full swing on Thursday with sheep and the dairy goat show. The Tama County Fair queen will be crowned on Thursday night following the Fashion Show. On Friday, Dairy and Horse Shows take place and Fun Night is scheduled with the Bucket of Junk Contest. The fair dance is set for 8:30 p.m.-midnight. On Saturday, the Swine Show, Hose Show speed events and Poultry Show are among the highlights. The Beef Show begins at 9 a.m.on Sunday.
