Tama County Museum hosts scavenger hunt

July 18, 2011
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald
Once again, the Tama County Museum will have a Scavenger Hunt. This is particularly aimed at students on summer vacation looking for something to do.

One of our volunteers has taken photographs of several items on display, to be found. Each item will have an identification number to identify the item. These items might be found on any one of the three floors of the museum.

Adults are welcome. Those under sixteen years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Application forms with a picture of each item can be gotten at the Museum. There is no time limit. You can spend all afternoon.

Our prizes are furnished by local businesses. These will be published in the paper at a later date. Watch the local newspaper for a list of the prizes.

Anyone completing the application form correctly will have their name placed in a drawing to be held September 1.

We invite young and old to participate in our Scavenger Hunt. This is an excellent way to become familiar with local businesses and to see the wonderful Tama County Museum and all it’s artifacts.
