Roger was born on December 12, 1947 at the Roger’s Maternity Hospital in Toledo, the son of Richard and Nadine (Lasley) Chamberlin. He graduated from South Tama County Community High School. Roger served his country in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Diana Flynn on July 14, 1972 in Toledo. Roger worked as a carpet layer for Horbach Furniture in Toledo and later worked as a truck driver for Z Line also in Toledo. He was a member of the Toledo American Legion. Roger enjoyed driving his 1955 Ford Truck as well as going to car shows and hanging out with his family and friends. He was a good conversationalist and was always willing to help someone out. Roger had a very humorous personality, was very likeable, and enjoyed a good joke.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his parents–in-law, Darold and Betty Flynn; and step-brothers, Tony and Joe Chamberlin.
Survivors include his wife Diana, Toledo; two sons, Donnie (Nicole) Chamberlin ,West Des Moines and their son, Grayson and Robbie (Dani) Chamberlin, Toledo and their children Brodie, Taytin, and Dreya; brother, Dennis (Sue) Chamberlin, Clive; and brother-in-law, Bob (Lori) Flynn .Toledo. Roger is also survived by his nephews, cousins, and friends.
