Iowa Public Radio’s broadcast of the Des Moines Symphony's Yankee Doodle Pops concert begins with a program preview with host Jacqueline Halbloom at 8 p.m. Scheduled guests include Maestro Joesph Giunta and operatic tenor Eduardo Villa, who will be featured in the evening’s performance. The concert, broadcast from the lawn of the Iowa State Capitol Building in Des Moines, begins at 8:30 p.m. and will feature patriotic favorites, including a special tribute to the Iowa National Guard.
