TOLEDO CHRONICLE - Contracts were approved for a number of positions when the South Tama School Board met in special session on Wednesday. June 8.
Among contracts issued were:
•Joel Murphy- Director of Curriculum and Assessment, $66,000 annually, effective July 1.
•Jeremy Jones- Middle School Dean of Students, $64,500 annually, effective Aug. 1.
•Abby Gard- high school science one-half time, $15,717 and alternate high school educational aide, $9.86 an hour for three and one-half hours for 180 days.
•Troy Wanatee- middle school Title VII educational aide, $9.16 per hour for 7 hours for 180 days.
•Tess Gerloff- 9th grade volleyball coach, $2,147.
•Holly Aldridge- assistant varsity volleyball coach, $2,412.
•Nathan Shepard- large group speech coach, $2,518 and high school play sponsor, $2,120. both positions in the spring of 2012
•Katie Murphy- one-quarter time assistant speech coach, $464.
•One-half time assistant speech coaches: Mary Fasse Shaw, $1047; Jeff Shaw,$1,047; Chris McFate $888;Terry Knapp $1,908;
•Laurie Thomas, $1,855 one-quarter time assistant speech coach
•Robert Tyynismaa, $2,438 assistant varsity boys track coach.
•Levi Hunerdosse, $1,590, 8th grade boys track coach and assistant 8th grade football coach, $1,458.
•Calvin Johnson, high school custodian, $13.04 per hour eight hours for 260 days.
Resignations were accepted from Scott Bolen, assistant varsity boys track, Robert Tyynismaa, 8th Grade head boys track coach and Pam Knock, elementary library educational aide.
Cathy DeBondt, elementary assistant principal was released from her contract effective June 30.
