Welding Basics offered three Saturdays in June

tamatoledonews.com MARSHALLTOWN (SPECIAL) – During this 3-week course, instructor Lars Brownlie will teach you the basic welding techniques for stick and wire welding along with oxyacetylene cutting and bending, and brazing. You must wear leather shoes, long sleeves and long pants to class. No prior welding experience is necessary. Participants will be able to test out four different brands of welders: Clarke, Hobart, Lincoln, and Miller, as they learn basic welding techniques.

The class will meet on Saturdays: June 4, 11, and 18, 8 am-12 pm, and the cost is $195. The class meets in the welding lab of the Business and Technology Center, located on the northeast corner of the MCC Campus, 3700 S. Center St., Marshalltown.
