She helped on the farm until they moved into Toledo in the fall of 1992. Helen was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama, where she was also active in the CCW in her earlier years. She enjoyed tending to her plants and flower garden and collecting rocks. She also liked to read and write letters and watch the squirrels and birds from her window.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Walter and Mary (Prochaska) Campbell; her husband, Louis "Louie" in 1999; and one brother, Ralph Campbell in 2007.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Kacer (and her husband John Kiraly), Bowling Green, Ky.; her son, Jim Kacer (and his wife Carolyn) Toledo; one grandson, Michael (and his wife Wondan Hong) Kacer, Iowa City; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a good friend, Alma Peters.
