UTICA, NY - Nine in 10 likely voters feel responsibility for current retail gas prices falls on investors who speculate on oil prices, with six in ten labeling the group as "very responsible" for the predicament.
Oil companies (83%) are next in line for the blame, followed by Congress (75%) and President Obama (57%).
Voters are more concerned about rising gas prices than accomplishing the U.S. goals in Afghanistan (64% to 22%) and global climate change (64% to 28%), but are split on whether their future Social Security and Medicare benefits are of greater concern than the cost of fueling their vehicles (47% to 45%).
