TAMA NEWS-HERALD - Venture Lanes Bowling in Tama shut its doors on April 29 according to the Tama-Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber reports the bowling center operators, Jenn and Carl Stover, will be leaving the community to obtain employment elsewhere.
The couple took over operation of what was known as Capri Lanes on March 3, 2008.
The bowling alley has been in operation in Tama since 1959 at its location on Business Route 30 on Tama’s east side.
