Pamida backs Relay for Life, issues challenge

May 2, 2011
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald
TOLEDO CHRONICLE - The Pamida Foundation is proud to present these funds to American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Tama County from our Local Charity Round Up program.

Funds were donated by our customers through this program; the Pamida Foundation is honored to also contribute to the fundraising efforts in each of our communities. We hope these funds can be used to help support your needs and to help those less fortunate in the community.

Team Pamida from Toledo raises a total of $1,000 each year for Relay for Life of Tama County through fundraising and donations to earn a spot as a Gold sponsor on the back of the T-shirt. This year we would like to challenge other area businesses and their teams to meet or beat our goal of $1,000.

Through the Pamida Foundation, we are able to partner with and support many community organizations that share our focus of education, helping families in need, and enhancing the quality of life for senior citizens.

This program is just one example of Pamida’s commitment to giving back to the communities that support us daily.

Pamida and the Pamida Foundation are committed to giving back and making a difference in the lives of those who live in all of our communities.
