TOLEDO CHRONICLE - Music with a beat and a message came to the Iowa Juvenile Home - Training School for Girls in Toledo last Wednesday with the appearance of the Shelter Reality drumline. The appearance was sponsored by the Iowa Juvenile Home Foundation.

This group of middle and high school students from across Iowa presents “music with a message” - Take a Chance - Believe in Yourself and God - Never Give Up - Be willing to do Whatever it Takes.

According to the Sheltered Reality website, the group was founded in 1996 by Steven Schlosser, West Branch, and has grown to seven sites in Iowa and sites in a number of midwestern states.

The performances are geared to present the message anyone “can dream and succeed.”
