" We ran well in both meets and since most of the schools we ran against we will see all year and at districts, I think it was a wake up call said coach George Kuhter. " Our shuttle ran fast for such a windy day at Knoxville and DCG. I think Tuesday was a good meet. Nick Clancy and Micheal Klostermann ran their individual hurdle events well. Jeff Hauser is our third senior and he continues to score points in a big way. He was in the play this week and has done a great job. With all of the younger kids, we need positive leadership and I think that the big three provide that."

"Brady Ellenbecker and Clay Waterbury had a great meet both days. They led the crew in the 32, 4x8, 400, the 16 and 800. Without Brady and Clay would have not gone as fast Brady, although they did fade a bit in the 800's but helping his cause was the fact that he had three personal bests on the day at Knoxville and had a taste of fast on Tuesday."

"Our field events other than the long jump have come up with minimal points and we are giving away big points there so it would be nice to have those guys step up a bit. When you have a good team, you need big field events. Right now we are going into the second half of the season needing to change up some things in the lineup. Hopefully that will get us over a hump where we can finish strong and make a good season evn better."
