TAMA NEWS-HERALD - Time is winding down for Tama Citizen of the Year nominations. They are due on May 12 at 5 p.m. and can be submitted to Tama Firefighters Assoc. O/O Tama City clerk Judy Welch, 305 Siegel, Tama, IA 52339.
Each year since 1982 the Firefighters Association has chosen a Tama citizen to recognize for their contributions to the city through volunteer efforts.
The honoree will be recognized during the Lincoln Highway Bridge Festival set for May 20 and 21.
