Townsley presented STC Superintendent’s award

Charley Townsley was recognized for his support of local school programs Monday and was presented the Superintendent's Award by South Tama Superintendent Kerri Nelson at the Monday night STC School Board meeting.

He recently was awarded an Iowa High School Girls Athletic Union Sportsmanship Award which will provide a scholarship for a local STC student. Townsley is sports editor and general assignments reporter for The News-Herald and Toledo Chronicle.
