Business, Farm and Home Show on tap Saturday

TAMA NEWS-HERALD - Your health, finances, gardening and high efficiency heating and air conditioning are all topics to be presented at a series of seminars at the big Tama-Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce Business, Farm and Home Show this Saturday, March 5.

This is the 14th annual Show which proves even more popular year after year.

There’s some fine entertainment as well, with dancers from Pam’s School of Dance and Just for Kix taking to the stage in the afternoon.

Doors will be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Meskwaki Veterans Convention Center at the Meskwaki Bingo • Casino • Hotel, four miles west of Tama-Toledo on the U.S. Highway 30 Expressway.

The Veterans Convention Center is located on the south side of the main casino entrance.

There’s load of of free parking both in front, in the west parking ramp and to the south of the convention center.

The seminars, a new feature of the show, kick-off at 10:15 a..m.

Displays and information featuring the latest in home improvement and items to help out on the farm will be featured at more than 30 booths.

There will be special booths featuring the Tama Fire department, Wieting Theatre and the Tama County Humane Society

You can register for prizes at many of the individual vendors as well as for door prizes.

If you’re hungry, one dollar donation to the Chamber gets you a coupon good for two dollars off the Meskwaki Jackpot Buffet.
