Elaine Linser is going on her 18th year as a tax professional. She has recently left the Marshalltown H&R Block office on Linn Street where she was the office manager since 2004 to pursue this endeavor.
Before coming to Iowa the couple resided in Atlanta, Ga., where she was the office manager at H&R Block before coming to Iowa.
Elaine Linser now is a member of the Marshalltown Lion’s Evening Club and also travels around to schools, businesses and frequently to Buena Vista College to speak to students about “Tax Talks.”
She is also the past vice president of Soroptimist International in Marshalltown and is nationally recognized for regional tax talks and second looks programs. Though Linser will be mainly in the Tama office she does plan to help at the Traer office when needed.
Mark is employed as the senior draftsman at Fisher Controls in Marshalltown. The couple have two grown children, Chasity, 30 and Stephanie, 28. They also have two grandchildren, Caleb and Gabriel.
Through H&R Block, Linser can not only help you during the tax season but also is available year around to help you with estates, trusts, business services such as payroll or bookkeeping.
H&R Block also offer free consultations for small business owners and individuals.
Hours at H&R Block for the Traer office during tax season is Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. and later times by appointment for your convenience. Off season hours are by appointment only and you can do this by calling 319-478-8868 or the Tama office at 641-484-5677.
