Taste wines, sample cakes, hor d’oeurves at Wieting Theatre this Friday

TOLEDO CHRONICLE - John Ernest Vineyard and Winery and the Wieting Threatre Guild are again combining forces to bring the second wine tasting event to the theatre this Friday evening, Jan. 21, from 5-6:45 p.m.

Tickets will be available at the door. Proceeds benefit the Wieting Restoration fund. (See story Page 1.)

Not only can you sample some of the Tama vineyard’s finest but Rosemary Brady’s Back Door dinners and George Fowler of Cakes By George! have been enlisted to provide a big selection of cakes, hors d’oeuvres and cheeses.

The wine tasting is, of course, “Adults only” but young people are invited to attend the movie.

You can also stay for the 7:15 p.m. showing of the movie “The Tourist.”
