In a letter to Carol Thompson, president of the Iowa Juvenile Home Foundation, Pamida Foundation Coordinator Kathleen Thompson announced he was enclosing a check for $1,540.
The money is designated to be used by the IJH Foundation to purchase $20 gift cards for each of the77 students at the Toledo facility.
Scheid wrote, in part, “Pamida is committed to the continued growth and well being of the community of Toledo and were are pleased to support this worthwhile cause.
“At Pamida, corporate citizenship is more than a responsibility, it’s a privilege, and we are proud to support a variety of charitable, family and children’s organizations and community events.
The Toledo Pamida Store is on U.S. Highway 63 (South County Road.)
