“Rep. Horbach has been an outspoken leader when it comes to job growth and protecting Iowa’s small businesses,” said Paulsen. “His hard work, determination and real world experience will help put Iowans back to work.”
Horbach, who is serving his seventh term, will also serve on the House Commerce and Local Government committees as well as the Justice Systems Appropriations subcommittee.
“Rep. DeBoef brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to the Iowa House,” said Paulsen. “She is a principled leader who will work hard on behalf of Iowans.”
DeBoef, is serving her sixth term in the House. She said,” It is such a privilege to serve in the Iowa House now for over ten years! I am looking forward to the 2011 session with great excitement! It is an honor to serve on these four committees. Three I have served on before. The one new one, the Ways and Means Committee has to do with tax policy, so that is something I have a huge interest in, also. De Boef and her husband, Harold have farmed together for almost 40 years.
The Iowa Legislature convenes January 10, 2011.
