November 26, 2010
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald
On Sunday, Nov. 28, the Tama -Toledo Lions Club will bring Dad’s Belgian Waffles to the Reining-Toledo Civic Center in Toledo from 8:30 a.m-12 noon for their Annual Fall Waffle Breakfast.

The moneys raised from this fund raiser will support community projects. The Lions Club, an international organization of 35 local members provides hearing aides and eyeglasses for underprivileged community members. In the past five years, the Lions club was responsible for helping over 50 community members hear and see better. The Lions also do eye screenings for local students as well as other community projects such as the two shelters in local parks as well as upkeep of the Toledo shelter house.

If you are interested in becoming a Lion or are interested in any of the Lions community projects contact any Lions Club member. Please help the Lions support the community.
