Creative Retirement plans day trip to Da Vinci Exhibit Nov. 16

Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald (MARSHALLTOWN-SPECIAL) Iowa Valley Continuing Education’s Creative Retirement Program is sponsoring a trip to visit the Science Center of Iowa in Des Moines and the Da Vinci Exhibit on Tuesday, Nov. 16.

According to the Science Center, “This internationally renowned exhibition is the most comprehensive ever compiled on Leonardo da Vinci - arguably the greatest genius the world has ever known. This 14,000-square foot exhibition features Da Vinci's remarkable works as an inventor, artist, anatomist, sculptor, engineer, musician and architect, all of which were years ahead of his time.”

The trip will leave Iowa Valley Continuing Education, 3702 S. Center St., Marshalltown, at 8 a.m. and return to the campus by 3 p.m. The fee for the trip is $49 and includes transportation, admission to the Da Vinci Exhibit, I-MAX Movie and all other Science Center exhibits.
