A spell will be cast over the Wieting as part of a Halloween Magic Show. The bewitching will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m.
Causing heads to be chopped and bodies to be sawed in half shall be magician Mike Prestby (kids may remember him from the Tama Library reading program). Tickets are $5 per person and are on sale at Doyle's Pharmacy and at the theatre.
The Mad Hatter will be transforming the theatre into "Wietingland" for a party on Halloween night. Fun and games will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The annual costume contest takes place at 7 p.m. so "don't be late, for this very important date". The evening movie will follow the activities.
The Wieting Theatre Guild strives to provide a safe and fun place for kids of all ages to spend Halloween. We are asking for your help in decorating the theatre.
A coloring contest and a pumpkin carving/decorating contest are the ways to get involved. The coloring page can be picked up at Doyle's and the theatre.
Entries that are turned in by Sunday, Oct. 24 will be eligible for a chance to win two tickets to the magic show. he pumpkins will line the stage and the coloring pages will adorn the walls.
