Chelsea Public Library finishes “Make A Splash”

October 9, 2010
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald
TOLEDO CHRONICLE - The summer reading program at the Chelsea Public Library is over for another year. It was a huge success as the theme “Make a Splash” was one that appealed to all age groups.

The library had twelve children finish the program this year. Each child received a “Make a Splash” t-shirt, a Dairy Queen treat coupon, a mesh back pack with swimming toys in it, and a pass to the Blank Park Zoo.

The Library had six craft days during the program. The children had a pizza party on the last day, and a great time was had by all who attended.

The library appreciates receiving coupons from Dairy Queen in Toledo for the ice cream treat, the Chelsea Savings Bank in Chelsea for a cash donation, and the Blank Park Zoo for the zoo passes.
