TOLEDO CHRONICLE - The 2011 South Tama County United Fund campaign has officially begun. We are kicking off our campaign with some exciting news to share with you about the STC United Fund. Rube’s Steakhouse in Montour has offered to host a benefit night and to donate 10 percent of total sales directly to the STC United Fund. We’d like to invite you to attend!
Here’s how it works: You and your family or friends dine at Rube’s anytime from 5-9 p.m .on Monday, Oct. 11. No reservations are needed, so just come out when you can. Mondays are burger night at Rube’s, so you can try a juicy burger or anything off their full menu.
Be sure to mention to your server that you are there to support the STC United Fund. They will tally up the sales from our supporters at the end of the night and donate 10% to the STC United Fund. It’s that simple!
This is a perfect time to enjoy a delicious night out and support your community. We are hoping to reach our goal of 200 guests – we hope you can help us get there!
By working together - we can help counsel a troubled teen - we can help feed and clothe flood or tornado victims - we can help bring hot meals to the homebound - we can teach the handicapped self-reliance - we can provide safe and educational activities for children - we can provide comfort for grieving families - we can provide heat for families this winter.
Most importantly by working together - we can give hope. So let’s work together…then others can have a brighter tomorrow.
Please come out and support the STC United Fund and help them reach their goal of $50,000. Current STC United Fund board members include Gary Mattson, Alan Kline, Kelly Smith, Kris Hibbs-Burr, Anita Townsley, Charlotte Upah, Michele Anderson, Kathy Holtz and Pat Kline serves as secretary.
