Richie Lee, Car Show, Crusin’ Saturday

TAMA NEWS-HERALD - More classic and antique vehicles than ever before are just part of what is promised for the annual Tama-Toledo Car Show and Cruise set for this Saturday, Sept. 18. The event is sponsored by the Tama-Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce.

Richie Lee’s Rock and Roll Show joins the line up of events in downtown Tama. Lee will take to the stage under the tent on McClellan Street between 3rd and 4th in downtown Tama from 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Also new this year is a STC Music Boosters food stand which will begin serving at 11 a.m. Proceeds are for the band uniform fund.

There are 14 vehicle classes with judging to begin at 2 p.m. There’s a $400 prize for the vehicle picked Best of Show.

The cruise is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. sharp.

•From downtown Tama-follow U.S. 63 (State Street) and continue on State to South Church in Toledo
•Follow Church to E. Summit -west on E. Summit To Broadway
•North on Broadway to High St., circle the Tama County Courthouse square in downtown Toledo
